5 Ways to Romance Your Man

5 Ways to Romance Your Man

Have you ever tried to come up with something special to do with your man but couldn't think of anything because it all seemed, well, too much like something you would want done for yourself? Most guys do not want the over-the-top romantic moves that women like such as long walks in the parks and going out to eat at fancy restaurants. From the research I've conducted it appears that most men want romance, they just have a different opinion about what it means than females do. Here are five ways for you to romance your man enough to make him melt.

  1. Make him feel like the sexiest man alive and he'll love you forever, according to Jake from Glamour Magazine in an article titled “The Real Way to Romance a Guy.” Jake reveals that the best way to make him feel like he's Superman is to compliment him whenever you can. This one is easy (unless you're in a bad mood) and doesn't cost anything.
  2. Treat him to a picnic in the park instead of a costly dinner at an upscale restaurant, recommends Tatiana Morales, a writer for CBS News. Guys appreciate when you tone things down because you reveal more of who you are when the two of you are hanging out at the park, dressed in casual wear.
  3. Keep a six pack of his favorite beer in the fridge to show that your down with him relaxing in front of the TV every so often or hanging out with you at home with a cold one. More than likely, he won't drink it every night but will want to find a way to unwind after a long week. My husband and I often keep a bottle of Rum that only comes out once every other month or so on game night.
  4. Bake your man his favorite cookies or muffins to show your love through his stomach. Guys love it when they can come home to their favorite snack or dessert awaiting them after a long day. This is a good option if neither of you drink. My husband loves it when a peanut butter cookie mix shows up in the pantry because it means that the only thing around the house for dessert won't be chocolate.
  5. Purchase tickets to his favorite sports team and go with him. Or, if you hate sports, give one to his best friend. He'll think it's romantic even if you don't know because you were thoughtful enough to let him attend an event anyway. Thoughtfulness, to me, is a large part of what makes romance, well, romantic.
