These are, what I consider to be five, very genuine ways to spoil your sweetie by spending little or no money.
#5: Knit them a scarf to keep them warm for what may be an upcoming blisteringly cold winter. Really depends on where you live, I guess. At any rate, learn to knit here.
#4: Buy them a cheap teddy bear. 26th president, Theodore Roosevelt (Nicknamed “Teddy”) really cared about bears, so much so, they actually named the present after him. If you really want to step it up, invest in a plain white infant t-shirt. Put it on the bear and have all of their closest friends and family autograph it for a one of kind (not to mention cheap) gift.
#3: Give them a coupon book. Though, this wouldn’t be just any old coupon book, this would be a coupon book full of your own homemade coupons. You might try writing things such as “This coupon redeemable for one free massage.” Or perhaps you could write on one, “IOU a home cooked meal.” Customize them based on what your lover derives pleasure from; whether it’s a back massage or a lovely three course dinner.
#2: Here’s an easy one: take them to see their favorite band. This is self-explanatory: I am a firm believer that music can cure all negativity in your life, if only for a few, brief sweet hours.
#1: Devise a way to do all of their errands for them one day, without them knowing. What a pleasant surprise that will be for them. It’s always a welcome gesture to handle someone’s mundane tasks. So then, with all that extra free time, they can perhaps focus more time on you!
